I’m sharing a link to something I posted a while back (2015, I believe) never thinking that there would be a Mother’s Day in which I did not have one of my children here on this earth. I had actually forgotten about it until a friend asked me for the link. I’m glad that I still had it since I don’t have my author website up, and I’ve lost a few blog posts.
When I wrote this, it was all about me missing my own mom. I thought that would be the worst grieving I would ever do, short of my hubby if that time ever came.
Nope. So wrong.
So I share it again, not to elicit anything for myself, but to nudge myself and you to open your eyes to the people around you. As it’s said, you never know what kind of day that person is having. You don’t know if they’ve just lost their job, a beloved family member, are in a bad relationship, etc. You just do not know.
It costs nothing to be kind. To reach out. To pray.
“For whatever you do to the least of them, you do unto Me.” Matthew 25:31-46
